Gary Rifkin is one of
only nine recipients of the Joseph J. Charbonneau Award. This award,
presented by the National Speakers Association / North Texas chapter, is
given to a person who exemplifies the highest standard of excellence and
professionalism in the speaking industry and who continues to be of
service to the local chapter.
-
Gary Rifkin has been
involved in the training and speaking business since 1987, when he began
as a popular speaker at major colleges and universities. He has since
catapulted into some of the most recognized and respected organizations in
the world.
-
Gary has been called “The
Energizer” by his clients. This stems from his deeply held belief that if
people can become excited about what they are learning, they will not only
apply the knowledge to the real world – they will become advocates and
tell others about it!

-
Gary is an accomplished
trainer and proven effective motivator for companies like UPS,
where he still – many years after the initial classes – receives
positive comments and requests to return.
-
Gary has worked as a
consultant to such colleges and universities as Penn State, Baylor
University, and Syracuse University
-
He has conducted seminars
and workshops for a wide range of industries, educational institutions,
and municipalities around the country

-
Gary's energetic and
creative style keeps his students and audience members involved in the
learning process.
-
Even in subjects that are
classified as “required training,” Gary has a unique talent to turn these
training “prisoners” into crazed champions that can’t wait for his next
event.

Gary is:
-
Co-author of The
Productivity Path
-
Co-author of The
Leadership Path
-
Co-author of The
Communication Path

Family has always been very
important to Gary. In fact, his current audio tape series is called “Grandma
Says…” based on the wisdom his grandmother continues to share with him
about feeling good, doing good, and being good. Additional creative
material is credited to his young nephew Jack.
Gary holds undergraduate
and graduate degrees from Penn State University and Bowling Green State
University. He is Past-President of the North Texas Chapter of the National Speakers Association and continues to
remain active in both the local chapter and the national organization. |
